Car Wrapping in brief
Car Wrapping or vehicle wrapping is a technique that has been used for many years now, and it stands as a strong alternative to painting, in case of a partial or complete color change of a vehicle.
The technique involves covering the parts of the vehicle (bumpers, hood, doors, fenders, handles…) with a heat-conformable vinyl film. This property allows it to follow the shapes of the vehicle, achieving an effect similar to painting.

Solid color or custom template?
In both cases, the technique used is the same and the type of films does not change. While for a solid color change, the conception phase is very short (having to focus solely on the color choice), for the second option, an ad-hoc graphic design study must be considered, which can require a lot of time.
There will be many factors to consider for the realization of a non-solid color customization. Firstly, the feasibility and then the choice of a graphic compromise that allows realization within an adequate price range.
To obtain a custom car wrapping, it is therefore necessary to consider a supplement for the design, which can vary based on requirements.

Car wrapping cannot be compared to painting for various reasons: if for painting there is a “perfect” result, for wrapping there is an “almost perfect” result (our experience in the bodywork field also obliges us to differentiate between the two types of results).
COST
Costs vary based on the material to be used, the vehicle model, the current color of the vehicle, and the design and color chosen. In 90% of cases, prices range from 1800 to 3900 CHF, but can go up to 6000 CHF.
PRODUCTION TIMES
For a full car wrapping, times range from 3 to 7 working days. It all depends on the disassembly, the size of the vehicle, the type of film, and other factors such as the original color and the desired one.
WARRANTY
We guarantee material and application for 1 year (excluding damages caused by wear and tear: dings, scratches,..). The material alone, however, has its own warranty which can last up to 5 years depending on the chosen supplier.
